Yoga for Blissful Aging

On weekends, I take time out to do Yoga.

Why?

Well, It’s not everyday I feel like doing the strenuous pull-ups, dips and burpees, and of course because I know one thing Yoga does is, it helps with a natural method of delaying the aging process.

Experts have agreed that the three major causes of rapid aging are:

1.      Stress.

2.      Poor Dietetic Habits

3.      Fundamentalism.

Stress: Technology, financial worries, work-related stress, and unstable relationships, are the most common distractions, but they serve to “chew up our time” and “choke the life” out of us.

It’s safe to say that overwhelming stress is worse for your health than a bad diet, because it will literally kill you much quicker. However, Yoga has proven time and again to be the route of dealing with it best.

In regards to diets, poor eating choices have never been more abundant and affordable, but there is a price in the form of obesity, lack of mobility, disease, and a much shorter life span. Yoga has been preaching a healthy diet for thousands of years.

Now for the last hurdle to anti-aging, fundamentalism, whether it is political, social, philosophical, or religious based, fundamentalism is based on intolerance.

When we become part of the mob, we have been duped, and we lose our awareness. This is why fundamentalism has no place for Yoga. Self-realization would prevent you from joining an angry mob.

So, where does this leave us, well blissful living requires complete awareness of all that is good in life.

In conclusion, we cannot live forever, but we can take the time to enjoy our family, friends, health, and the common sense, we have gathered, up to this point.
