Healthy Weight Loss Begins on the Inside

It is documented that people spend loads of money on the new weight-loss pill or supplement guaranteed to 'make you eat less and increase your metabolism...' and in spite of whatever side effects the product may contain, the average Joe, still thinks this quick fix will be worth the risk.

Sure everyone wants to have the healthy weight loss with the six-pack and the toned arms and all, and that is fine and of course worth striving for if one so desires, however, what should be of more importance is how clean the inside of the body is.

This determines perhaps more than is realized just how one feels and speaking of a six-pack, if one’s colon and visceral organs are free of excess weight and debris, naturally a decent looking mid-section will be evident. (Just food for thought)

The average person is constantly carrying 10-15 pounds of un-eliminated feces in their bowels. This in itself has a toxic effect on the blood stream.     The Keys To Healthy Weight Loss And Wellness

    WHAT TO EAT



    KEY #1 Eat lots of Organic Vegetables and Fruits!

    Veggies and fruits are low in calories, provide filling fiber, vitamins and minerals, and protect your health in many ways. Organic produce has superior nutrition without the insecticides and poisons found in ordinary produce. Eat as much of your produce raw as you can. Cooked or frozen is acceptable, but stay away from canned. Naturally fermented (lacto-fermented) vegetables, such as sauerkraut and kimchee, are very good for you as well.



    KEY #2 Eat Meat and Animal Products.

    There are vital nutrients found in animal foods that cannot be found elsewhere. Meat, fish, eggs, cheese, and milk are important staples in our diet. And their protein is important for preserving and building lean tissue – the muscle that burns calories!



    KEY #3 Eat Whole Grains-- Properly Prepared.

    Grains should be soaked, sprouted, or fermented to be digestible for most people. Whole grain products that have not been properly prepared can cause mineral deficiencies and intestinal problems.



    KEY #4 Add Raw Milk Products to Your Diet.

    Raw (unprocessed, unhomogenized, unpasturized) whole milk from grass fed cows is what the body needs (adults and children). It will boost your intake of calcium and other nutrients, and help your body shed unwanted fat with the CLA found in it. See http://realmilk.com for more information.



    KEY #5 Eat lots of "Good" Fats

    The omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids in butter, some fish (especially cod liver oil) coconut and palm oil and nuts are vital to health. Saturated fat, despite what you probably heard, will help you lose weight, does not cause heart disease, and is actually something the body needs for healthy functioning.



    WHAT TO AVOID



    KEY #6 Cut Out “Junk” Carbs-- Sugar and White Flour.

    They sabotage your healthy diet in all but the smallest amounts. Use soaked whole grain flours and small amounts of natural sugars such as raw honey and organic maple syrup. Stay away from corn syrup-- it is worse than sugar.



    KEY #7 Greatly Reduce “Junk” and “Bad” Fats

    Trans fats and processed oils (most of the oil you will find in the grocery store for cooking) are not only high in calories, but are loaded with harmful fatty acids that contribute to disease and obesity. Use butter and coconut oil for cooking, and other healthy oils like flax and olive oil raw for salads.



    KEY #8 Stay Away From Modern Soy Foods.

    Soy is not a meat replacement and can block mineral absorption, inhibit protein digestion, depress thyroid function and contains potent carcinogens. Traditional soy foods are fine, if taken in small amounts and properly fermented, like in soy sauce, miso and tempeh. Avoid all products with soy proteins and isolates added to them. Do not give infants soy formula!



    KEY #9 Avoid Processed Food.

    Canned and processed produce, boxed meals, processed meat and cheese, protein powers and powered milk contain toxins and things that keep you fat-- such as MSG, rancid fats and cholesterol, hydrogenated oils and trans-fat, white sugar, and white flour, not to mention all the added colors, preservatives and artificial vitamins. Use unrefined sea salt and herbs to season your food instead of refined salt and MSG.



    KEY #10 Reduce or Eliminate Processed Alcohol.

    Processed alcohol consumption tends to cause weight gain. Traditional homemade fermented unpasturized beverages, low in alcohol, on the other hand, are good for you in moderation.



    WHEN, HOW & HOW MUCH TO EAT



    KEY #11 Cut Down on Food Gently

    Extreme and sudden dieting causes your body to conserve, not burn calories. See "Report."

    For a Healthy Weight Loss, here's a Recommended Diet Plan

    A Healthy weight loss is the safest and most effective approach and in order to acquire it naturally, perhaps the two most important factors are dieting and exercise.

    Although dieting may be only half the program when it comes to a healthy weight loss regimen, the kind of diet is what would make the whole process successful. Where can you find it? Right there in the produce aisle.

    To acquire a loss of weight that will be effective and at the same time healthy for the body, as mentioned earlier, besides exercise, you need to choose the right substances for food. The very best choices are quite simply our fruits and vegetables.

    It is well known that fruits and vegetables alone are the substances that possess the abilities to not only provide the necessary fuel needed for day to day activities, but play important and vital roles in

    1. Providing the alkaline reserves in the body for balancing chemical metabolism within.

    2. Cleansing the digestive and excretory tract as they act as the much needed intestinal broom to sweep these 'pipes' clean to function properly in their duties of nourishing and cleansing the body.

    3. Keeping the body fit, trim and in shape WITHOUT the unwanted side effects of toxic and artificial substances such as pills and supplements.

    No one is saying that diet alone will bring about desired results in regards to weight loss. However, it goes without saying that if one subsists on fruits and vegetables, when properly consumed, it will greatly augment whatever exercise one could and should be doing to lose weight.

    As a matter of fact, I can go as far as to say you certainly can’t gain weight on fruit. Being proactive cleansers, by nature they would be more of detoxifiers first rather than body-builders for a while when one consumes fruits in large, yet reasonable quantities.

    This explains why people lose a lot of weight on going on an all raw-diet. (No one is saying you must go that far, however, it should be food for thought.)

    Nonetheless, if a healthy weight loss is your goal, it goes without saying that you want to linger more in the produce section than in the snacks aisle or the candy section at the cash-registers.

    1. Never eat until you're hungry and guidelines to know when you are in true hunger are as follows:
    -The stomach aspires.
    -The mouth salivates even at the sight of plain lettuce.
    -The mind is happy and clear
    -It happens usually after noon when the body is its building stage.

    2. Do not drink liquids of any kind with your meals. It only dilutes the digestive juices in your stomach leading to indigestion and constipation.

    3. As a rule of thumb, don't drink anything but water an hour or 2 prior to and/or after eating your meals.

    4. One truth regarding the conditions of the human blood found out by medical doctors is that acidity is a sign of disease. This readily happens with the mixed eater when he fills his stomach daily with meat, starch, confectioneries and fruit all at the same time.

    If you are not fully convinced, next time you sit down to your Sunday dinner; have your usual menu served for an imaginary guest. Empty his portion in a pot, using the same quantities that you eat and drink yourself. Stir thoroughly, and then bake this in an oven at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for no less than 30 minutes. Place a cover on the pot and leave it overnight. When you remove the cover the next day, a distinct surprise will await you.
    That surprise is also in your digestive tract and has and will continue to be there everyday as a result of improper food combining.

    In Nature such as exists in the animal kingdom, there are no mixtures at all. The ideal and most natural method of eating is the mono-diet. Truthfully, one kind of fresh organic fruit, when in season, should constitute a meal and you will find yourself better nourished. However going back to that simplicity is very difficult in our complicated world. This is why, as an alternative, you should apply the guidelines above when eating for health. So at all times, follow these food combining principles properly and your body will thank you for years to come that you did.

    Food Combining and Safe Weight Loss-What You need to know (part 4)

    Now that we’ve gone over the reasons why proper food combining is important and the groups of foods, let’s go over the principles of mixing these items properly.

    Food combining: Rules to follow

    To avoid fermentation in the intestines, indigestion, water retention and toxicity, do apply these simple techniques in eating for health

    1. Eat sweet fruits with other varieties of sweet fruits only.
    They may combine with sub-acid fruits

    2. Eat Acid fruits alone or with Lettuce and Celery. In little quantities they may combine with Avocadoes or Nuts and Non-Starchy vegetables.

    3. Avocadoes and Olives are best eaten with non-starchy vegetables. I believe mashed, avocadoes combine great with boiled potatoes.

    4. Melons, as a rule eat alone or leave alone.

    Food Combining: Combinations to Avoid

    When practicing proper food combining as rule for eating healthier, these are some combinations you especially want to avoid.

    1. Starch and Acid (e.g. Tomato and Potato)
    2. Protein and Protein (Avocadoes and nuts)
    3. Sweets and Starch (Maple Syrup and Rice)

    1. Never, ever eat fresh fruits with cooked meals. Save for the avocado and even then with caution.

    2. Lettuce and Celery combine with anything. Eat these raw.

    3. Meat & Fish: Eat these substances in very, very little quantities, one at a time and with

    4. Bread: Well, here is a thought, Nature doesn’t produce bread! If you must eat this item, eat as little of it as possible, toasted and with vegetables and fat only. Also to be considered is this fact: you're only being rendered as soggy as that bread and if you're male, it has the tendency to throw your sexuality out of sync. Ever wonder why some guys have breasts? Well, bread is piled with a high amount of estrogen (a female hormone) so do yourself a favor and eat of it no longer. (I have read that rye, spelt and un-yeasted breads might be okay in moderation)

    5. Grains: Eat as little as possible of grains and when consumed, combine them with vegetables only.
