Is a Fruit Only Detox Diet Effective?
Oh, Yes indeed!
In fact, perhaps only one thing can match (or maybe beat) a fruit only detox diet, that of course being the use of a fast...but that's a different subject into itself.
But, to answer the question, of I most definitely recommend a fruit for detox diet as a means to cleanse the body and heck, as the best way to augment quick weight loss programs and exercise programs for weight loss.
Okay, How do I Implement a Fruit Only Detox Diet?
The fruit for detox diet aka fruit fast is really not a fast per se…but when one lives exclusively on SEASONAL ORGANIC fruits for days on end…meaning mono meals (2 at the most ) of only one kind of fruit say Apples in Fall, Melons in summer for a week plus, you will be bound to see the benefits.
Moreover, although knowing what to eat during a fruit only detox diet is of uttermost importance, you must learn when and how to eat these right foods. I will make a statement here that may go against every thing you may have read or heard on nutrition but I know what I am saying from close to 6 years on trying this simple method on myself. The worst meal that we as humans partake of is ‘breakfast.’
How so the uninformed may ask; well based on scientifically proven research on thousands of people for over two centuries on such health principles as food combination and the realization that the human body goes through a cleansing process from twelve midnight until twelve noon, and a building program from twelve noon to twelve midnight, your meals during these respective periods should be harmonious with the natural processes.
As a result here is a suggested daily menu plan when undergoing a fruit for detox diet.
Breakfast:
A choice of the following
1. A tall glass of Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice.
2. A tall glass of Fresh squeezed lemonade flavored with genuine maple
Syrup (the darker the grade the better)
Lunch:
A mono-meal of an organic fruit in season for example Apples in the fall and winter, Melons in the summer, Berries in spring.
Dinner:
You could repeat the same afternoon choice or make a smoothie using anyone one of these recipes, (however, learn not to abuse the latter choice though, remember, try to keep things as natural as possible friends)
Smoothie Recipes for a Fruit for detox diet
"Chocolate" Milk
-10-15 medium dates
-3 ripe bananas.
-1 Young Coconut (I don't usually use the water inside of the nut although I heard it has some benefits, I have tested it on me to a not so good result but again we are all different)
-16 oz cold Water
Blend everything starting with the fruits then the coconut.
Papaya Passion
-1 medium Papaya
-1 red delicious apple
-5 dates (pitted)
Blend everything and prepare for something outta this world!
Strawberry Delight
-4-8 strawberries
-1-2 Bananas
-8-10 dates
My Milk Shake tastes much better than yours...!
-2 cups of Durian
-8 dates
-2 bananas
-1 tsp of Carob powder
Mango Magic
-1-2 ripe mangos (peeled)
-8 dates (pitted)
-Juice of one orange
Durian Deck
-24 oz of durian
-1/2 orange
-Blend both.
Well, there you have it, tips and steps to using a fruit for detox diet successfully and the right and healthy way.

Whenever I use the fruitfast, my stomach cramps up and I send allot of time in the bathroom. I guess the fruit fast diet is not right for me. I'll just eat a well balanced diet.
