it is necessary to understand anxiety symptoms.
With the way of the world – overworked citizens attempting to make money, advance careers, and still juggle family and personal relationships – stress is unavoidable. And for some, feelings of anxiety become part of their everyday existence. Anxiety – often referred to as fear or panic – happens to all of us at one time or another. It is the body's way of identifying danger and protecting us in its wake.
We are programmed in these situations to have what is known as a fight or flight response during which the body releases adrenalin to help us do whatever it is we need to do to protect ourselves. But sufferers of anxiety experience this heightened sensitivity severely and often. It is when anxiety becomes persistent and interferes with daily activities that most people turn to treatment. But in order to identify overall anxiety – rather than just an isolated reaction to an isolated incident – it is necessary to understand anxiety symptoms.
Anxiety can crop up in several ways. While some people report experiencing anxiety in response to particular situations, others report an overall sense of anxiety throughout the day in response to nothing in particular. In either case, however, anxiety symptoms are the same.
The flow of adrenalin experienced in the body’s fight or flight response, manifests itself in a number of physical ways. Heart rate accelerates resulting in palpitations, sweating, dizziness, and difficulty breathing. In fact, many people feel as if they are suffocating and can not catch their breath. This can be enormously frightening and can only serve to exacerbate symptoms.
Other physical symptoms may include diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, inability to swallow, headache, shaking, trembling, and frequent urination.
But there are psychological anxiety symptoms that sufferers experience as well. Anxiety sufferers may feel ongoing heightened sensitivity or feelings of worry and unease, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and insomnia. Many people feel as if they are "going crazy" and have difficulty separating reality from the imaginary.
Once a pattern of anxiety symptoms is identified it is best to meet with doctors who can also help you determine what specific situations may provoke your anxiety. At this time, a treatment plan may be implemented to help the patient manage the feelings of anxiety and lesson anxiety symptoms. Such treatments may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, holistic remedies, lifestyle modifications, and even medication.
The type of treatment that may be used to combat anxiety symptoms will largely depend on the type of anxiety being experienced. General anxiety disorder refers to an overall feeling of heightened anxiety and can often not be traced to any specific provocation. Panic disorder refers to sudden and often severe anxiety attacks that take place in response to a particular situation or stressor.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder – or OCD – is anxiety that manifests itself in compulsive behaviors; sufferers often have to complete certain rituals in order to maintain internal order. Phobias also fall under the umbrella of anxiety disorders and refer to severe and irrational fear associated with particular places, situations, or objects; often the fear is so great that sufferers will avoid the source of anxiety altogether. Anxiety symptoms vary greatly according to the type of anxiety being experienced.

prevent yourself from creating your own sorrow
There are times in your life when you may have great sorrow, but what makes it worse is when you are the cause of that sorrow. If you are like most people you have done something at least once in your life that you regret. Most of the time, these things happen because you said something in a heightened emotional state and you didn’t even really mean what you said.
One way to prevent yourself from creating your own sorrow is to take heed to a Chinese Proverb that says, ‘If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.’
You can use this wisdom to have success in many areas of your life. One of the first things that will help propel you forward is to learn how to not react to every emotion that you have. If you are a slave to your emotions you will destroy all kinds of relationships ranging from family relationships to business relationships. Also, if you don’t allow yourself to be controlled by your emotions you will find that you will have much more stability in everything that you do. You will be able to deal with things in a much better way because you will be able to do so in a calm and rational manner.
By controlling your emotions you will find that you will be much happier because you won’t have to deal with the aftermath of an emotional reaction to something. Not only that, but you won’t hurt the people you care most about by saying things that you don’t really mean. Take the high road, keep your emotions in check, and live a much happier life.

The pursuit of happiness does not have to be challenging
The pursuit of happiness is one of the basic elements of human existence. We want to be happy. So why are so many people unhappy then? Most likely people are not happy because they are missing one of the six keys to happiness.
The most important key to your personal happiness is determining that you will be happy. For many people, their personal happiness is not a priority in their life. Too often, we put the happiness of others before our own. While this may please our children, spouse, or boss, this is not the path to happiness. This dos not mean you should make yourself happy at the expense of others, but you must remember that the reverse should also not be true -- your happiness should not be sacrificed to make others happy.
Once you have determined to make your pursuit of happiness a priority you need to determine just what it is that makes you happy. Spend some time reviewing the happy times in your life. Think about memories that make you smile or activities that make you joyful. Can you find a common element or theme? Then that is one of the keys to finding true happiness for you.
Now that you have identified what makes you happy you need to engage in that activity. Perhaps you need a creative outlet? Join a writing group, take an art class, or learn an instrument. Do you need physical activity? Then find a way to get back into a sport you love or start a new one. All that is necessary is that you find a way to reconnect with this key element.
However true happiness for most of us is not dependent solely on finding that one key. For most of us, we also require special people in our lives to be happy. Perhaps you have lost touch with someone important and can reach out to them? Or perhaps it is simply a time to plan some special time with family. It is important to our own pursuit of happiness to stay connected with those we love.
Another essential to finding true happiness is to give of ourselves as well. Helping others in both small and large ways can help make you happier and more content. You might even be able to find a way to combine giving and engaging in an activity that makes you happy. For example, if you love to make people laugh you could organize a community talent show as a fundraiser for a local charity.
Finally, make a list of all the aspects of your life that do make you happy. So many of us get down because we dwell on the negative, but usually there is something about your life that makes you happy. Make a list of these items so you can have a quick mood enhancer when you feel down.
The pursuit of happiness does not have to be challenging or arduous. Finding true happiness can be as simply as determining, identifying, engaging, connecting, giving and reminding yourself of the 6 keys to personal happiness.

Secrets To Living A Happer Life
1. Give something away – How does it feel to give something away that cost you a great deal. It feels good, doesn’t it? That is when you are giving from a cheerful heart. Purpose in your heart to give something valuable away each day. It can be, your time to help somebody, it can be money to help somebody or charity or it can be a word of encouragement to a stranger. This will contribute to your quest for living a happier life.
2. Do a kindness – Have you wander how little kindness put smiles on people faces. Like holding the door for someone, letting ladies first, greeting someone because you want to than just a fake grin on your face, picking up somebody’s item that he or she dropped and running after them to give it to them. No matter what be kind anyway. You will feel good and you will be on your way to living a happier life.
3. Give thanks always – The Bible says we should give thanks to God in everything. I know sometimes it is very difficult to do that, but you just try it. Especially in very difficult circumstances. You will feel better. When you are able to do that, you give God the authority to take control and work his will. Whatever the situation is, do your best to give thanks.
4. Work with vim, vigor and have a great attitude – Every morning, if you are able to wake up for another day, you should purpose in your heart to work with vim, vigor and have a great attitude. Whatever you do each day follow this basic principle and you will be amazed how you will enjoy working. You are going to work anyway so why don’t you do it to enjoy.
5. Visit the elderly and learn from their experience – I once heard it from one of my mentor’s John Crowe of BWW that experience is the best teacher especially if it is not your own. The elderly folks are there for our benefit and they will love our company. Purpose in your heart to spend time with them. Chat and learn from their experience. After all it is free and they are looking for people to share with.
6. Look intently into the face of a baby and marvel – Have you ever looked into a baby’s eye? If you have not, try it. It will amaze you. That is when you will marvel at the creation power of God. To imagine that you were once like that will blow your mind out.
7. Laugh often—it is life’s lubricant – They say it takes more energy and muscles to frown than to smile so I decided I am going to smile more. Try this, anytime you see somebody who looks serious, give them a genuine smile and see how your smile will melt away their seriousness and put a smile back on their face. It is amazing how this work.
8. Pray to know God’s way –The best way to know God’s way is through His word, the Bible. The Bible says commit your ways to the Lord and He will direct you path. There is nothing as sad as person who has come to the end of his life and wander why God put me on earth. We are all here for a purpose. Pray to God for His direction. Seek Him for his ways and purpose for your life. It is never too late. If you don’t know why you are here, then I entreat you to sincerely pray to him for His way.
9. Plan as though you will live forever—you will – Great people who have impacted humanity lived by this principle. That is why we still remember them. They lived not for themselves but for others. They served and served to the best of their ability. They lived to accomplish their goals and dreams. None of us was born to a life of mediocrity; we are all born for a life of greatness. Those who accomplish great things did what others will not do. They find the purpose for their life and live it to the best of their ability. You too can live forever through your works if you will pursue your goals and dreams with all you got.
10. Live as though today is your last day on – Time will not wait for you so live each day with a purpose and urgency. Have goals and items to accomplish each day. Have a game plan for the day. Live the day and don’t let the day leave you. If you will work daily on your goals and dreams, at the end of life you will know what the Good Lord put you here for. Living a happier life is daily task. It is a choice we make daily.

a foot massage often goes just as long a way in renewing our body and spirit.
Massage has been shown to have an enormous amount of benefits on both the physical and emotional well-being of the body. And society has sat up and taken notice by building an entire industry around that which helps to relax, rejuvenate, and revitalize a society of perpetually work-weary and emotionally stressed citizens. For those of us who have neither the time nor the money necessary to treat ourselves to a full body massage, a foot massage often goes just as long a way in renewing our body and spirit.
Massaging of the feet has more than just a relaxing effect on the body. It can also be used in conjunction with reflexology, wherein trigger points on the body are stimulated in order to inspire overall general health. Reflexology is often used on the ears and hands, but more often than not, it is a practice normally reserved for the feet. In essence, the foot is categorized into different zones; each zone corresponds to a different area of the body; stimulating that particular zone will have positive effects on the corresponding body system.
Experts believe that when there is disorder in a particular area of the body, the energy in this spot becomes "trapped." In massaging and stimulating the corresponding zone on the foot, the energy is released and healing can begin. Reflexology of this kind has been shown to relieve the symptoms of migraines, pre-menstrual syndrome, and a host of other maladies.
There is, of course, the foot massage that is given solely for pleasure – and not therapeutic – reasons. Even when reflexology is not being practiced, massaging the feet can elevate your mood, relieve stress, and give you an overall sense of well-being.
There are many different ways in which to receive massage. The growing popularity of spas has afforded guests the opportunity to receive massage of all varieties. A full body massage, hot stone therapy massage, cranial-sacral massage, maternity massage, and foot massage are all avenues in which to bring pleasure and release to our often overly-stressed bodies.
For those who enjoy the periodic pedicure, a foot massage is typically given as part of the service. Your feet are soaked in warm water that is typically treated with aromatic oils. After you soak your feet, they are normally massaged with wonderful moisturizer after which your toe nails are groomed and painted. A pedicure can be a short and affordable pick-me-up when you are feeling spent of energy and need rejuvenation.
Part of what makes a foot massage so wonderful, however, is the ability to give and receive it in the comfort of your own home. Such massage is easy to learn and even a quick massage can bring great relief and enormous enjoyment. Look to the Internet to find quick instruction on how to properly massage the feet; there are also a number of spas that give classes on massage where you can learn to treat someone you love to a moment of peace and tranquility.

If you want to rid your life of stress...
Nowadays, there are many ways to eliminate stress. Anywhere you turn, you can find a list of activities to eliminate stress. This can include relaxing on a spa, spending a romantic weekend getaway, or maybe having a mud bath every week. Well, these activities are rather expensive and not all individuals can afford such luxurious activities.
If you want to rid your life of stress, these activities will help you in eliminating stress:
1. Affirm yourself always. Treat this as your daily morning activity. Affirm yourself with positive statements so that you will be motivated to do things better.
2. For your physical well-being, exercise regularly. This is an activity that will really help you in eliminating stress. You can exercise at home, in your neighborhood, or even in fitness gyms.
3. Breathing activity is also very important. If a person forgets how to breathe, then that person will cease to live. Breathing exercises are quite effective because it provides your body with additional energy and increased awareness.
4. Another activity that you should not forget is sleeping. An average person should get at least eight hours of sleep every day. So sleep early at night.
5. Yoga. You don't have to be an expert in this activity. Just a few stretching programs can help you a lot in eliminating stress.
6. Laugh. This might sound ridiculous, but laughter is really a good medicine. In fact, other people say it's the best. Don't forget to have fun even on a hectic schedule. If you always smile or laugh, your body will experience certain wonders.
Every individual is unique in his own way. One activity may eliminate a certain individual's stress but may prove to be ineffective for another. So the best way is to identify the different activities that truly eliminate your stress.

Your subconscious mind
Whatever we see, hear, smell, taste, touch or feel passes through the conscious mind and reaches the subconscious mind where it is then stored.
Once you have learned how best to deal with a situation, you will generally find it much easier the next time around. This is because you are using information which is already stored.
For instance, once you have learned to ride a bike, you don’t have to consciously think about it anymore. This is because the stored information will come to you automatically, the next time you get on your bike to ride it.
Just as if you were to learn where each letter on your keyboard is, you can now type without looking because you have formed a mental picture in your subconscious mind of what the keyboard actually looks like.
The above are just two instances of how the subconscious mind stores up relations of learned behaviour. We are sure you would be able to find many more examples of this in your everyday life!
Information from the conscious mind gets past into the subconscious mind, and there is a very strong link between the two. It is said that everything you have ever seen, heard or experienced is perceived by your conscious mind, and then stored away into your subconscious mind as a memory.
Not only is this memory stored as the incident itself, but also any feelings that went with it at the time are also stored.
Your subconscious mind does not only store your memories and feelings. It is the maker of all the great ideas you have ever had, and is also the seat of your intuition and creativity. When you do begin to control your conscious thought processes, you will find that you can apply the powers of your subconscious mind towards any problem or difficulty you may come across.
Most of the great artists, poets, writers, scientists, inventors and discovers have had or have a deep understanding of how their conscious and subconscious mind work. The ones that do not unknowingly set their genius to work for them when they tapped into their subconscious mind power by instinct.
You see, the Einsteins and Edisons were not that much smarter that the average person, writes psychology professor Dean Simonton.
After conducting many studies of intelligence and creativity, Professor Simonton has found that there is no real relationship between our IQ and creativity. Most of the celebrated minds of history, Simonton believes, simply made better use of their subconscious mind power.
Just by having a basic knowledge and understanding of how your conscious and subconscious mind work, and also how they interact with each other, you will be able to work wonders in your life. The possibilities truly are endless!

with the increase of stress, obesity also followed closely
Obesity today is so common that young people are also suffering from this kind of disease. Normally, obesity is diagnosed during middle age. However today, you will normally hear that young people in their 20's are now suffering from this kind of disease.
The main cause of obesity is overeating. However, not many people know the causes of overeating. And, the answer to this question is stress. Many people today, especially young people, are now living a hectic and stressful lifestyle. Because they live this kind of life, they tend to eat comfort foods to get rid of stress.
Stress can make you feel hungry even though you just ate. Because of this reason, you will tend to eat more portions and fast food chains are serving food portions that are high in fat, sugar and salt 700 percent larger than what is recommended by dietitians and nutritionists.
Over the past two decades, stress has increased in an alarming rate. Studies also found that along with the increase of stress, obesity also followed closely. Try and ask yourself about being stressed. After eating a hearty breakfast, you set off for work. On your way to work, you experience being stuck in a traffic jam. You will see that it will stress you out and it will also make you hungry an crave for food even though you just ate a big breakfast just less than an hour ago.
As you can see, stress is a large contributor to obesity. Because of this, it is very important for you to live a stress free lifestyle as much as you can. You can consider exercising as it can reduce stress or you can also try to meditate.
There is so much you have to change in your life today in order to avoid experiencing stress and at the same time, avoid gaining weight until you become obese. Through exercise and by eating only when you need to, you will decrease stress plus it can also decrease your risk on becoming obese.
Remember this and you will live a happier and healthier life. Defeat obesity by first defeating stress.

Would you like to know how to make your life happier
Do you live alone? Would you like to know how to make your life happier, more fulfilled, and more purposeful?
People who live alone are often challenged to develop a positive attitude and find those activities, friends, and goals that make their lives meaningful. However, with a shift in attitude, they can find themselves attracting people and events into their lives that they have always wanted.
Some people often feel that they are destined to have lives that are less that satisfying. Many stoically carry their burdens and their unrealized hopes in their hearts, never speaking up or stepping forward to seize the opportunities that are waiting for them. This consciousness does not just happen to those who are alone...it can happen to anyone. But when we are alone, we are more vulnerable. It becomes even more important that we look after our best interests.
It is true that there are many circumstances that are beyond our control. However, those circumstances do not have to stop us from discovering the plans, dreams, and ambitions that are meant to be ours.
Here are some ideas and actions that you can implement to give yourself a richer life. Some of these ideas can be acted upon immediately, and some can be a work in progress:
1. Ask yourself everyday, “What do I want?”
Set some simple goals for just one thing that you want. Make a list of the actions it will take to achieve that goal.
2. Explore your passions.
What do you LOVE to do? What gives you energy, makes you smile to think about, or seems like a dream that could never come true? What did you always want to do but never got around to doing? What would it take for you to move closer to doing one of your passions or finding one of your forgotten dreams?
3. If you had worlds of money and time, what would you do?
Make a list. These are some of the things you need to start doing now.
4. Watch your thoughts—they lead to your actions.
If you notice your thoughts are negative, replace them with ones that make you feel good. Spend 20 minutes every day thinking of things that make you happy,--places you want to visit, people you want to be with, objects you would like to own. Picture yourself there. FEEL it.
5. Keep your mood and thoughts in a positive place.
Read books that inspire, watch TV that makes you laugh or gives you hope, and be around people that feed your spirit. Weed the rest out. Do not start or end your day watching news filled with tragic stories.
6. Re-define your purpose and vision for your life.
The purpose of your life needs to be very clear. It’s who you are and how people identify you. Exercise your creativity to re-invent any part of yourself or your life.
7. Have a career that feeds you enough money for your lifestyle, pride about what you are doing, and excitement for your day.
If you feel at a stand-still in your work and career, brainstorm with people about ideas for a career shift. Don’t stop searching until you find something that you feel excitement for.
8. Reach out to people and build a network of support.
If you are having a bad moment in life and doubt your worth or contribution to others, make a list of five friends and call them and ask them to tell you what you mean to them. This is a very powerful exercise. I guarantee you will never forget it.
9. Learn new skills, techniques, crafts.
There is nothing like learning something new that gives a special hopefulness for the future.
10. Exercise.
You have to take care of your body so your body can take care of you and take you where you want to go. Besides—it gives you energy and is a mood elevator.
11. Meditation and prayer.
They both have a profound affect on mental and physical health.
12. Consider adopting a pet.
Pets give us unconditional love, 24/7.
To live alone and love it, adopt any or all of the above attitudes, strategies, and ideas. Your great life is waiting for you.

Having adversity in your life is normal
Having adversity in your life is normal, but having adversity isn’t what matters. What matters is what you do to overcome that adversity. Joshua J. Marine once said, ‘Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.’ Don’t settle for merely having an interesting life, have a meaningful one. Here are 3 ways to turn your adversities into success.
1. Find the diamond in the coal.
Everything that you go through in life has value to it. It may not always seem like it because all you can remember is the pain or hurt you’ve experienced. You must remember that, right now, there are thousands of people who are going through the same types of situations that you are going through. The things that you learned from your adversity can help others get through their own difficult circumstances. Many times you can even turn what you learned into a profitable business.
2. Keep your purpose alive.
If your purpose for doing what you are doing dies, then adversity will conquer. However, if you constantly keep your purpose and vision in the fore-front of your mind, then you will press through any adversity you are facing because you know that what you are doing in life is bigger than the present circumstances you are experiencing.
3. Get back up.
Surround yourself with people who can help you through the tough times in life. You were never meant to do everything by yourself. Sometimes you need to have people around you to encourage you. Isolating yourself in times of adversity is one of the worst things that you can do.
Don’t let adversities in your life win. Use these 3 keys to help you overcome adversity so that you can have the success that you know is supposed to be yours.
