Did You Sleep With the Windows Open..?
Recently, although it wasn't a full-fledged attack or nothing close, I remember having a day where I felt like my breathing just wasn't deep enough and my chest felt stiff and my vocal cords extremely tight.
I complained about this to a friend (albeit sheepishly considering that I often boast that I never get sick...may lie to get off work but still...) and she asked well: Did you sleep with the windows open?
Turns out yes, I did and I didn't use a blanket.
Now, I'm on the 9th floor of my apartment building and as they say, the higher the elevation the more extreme the temperature changes, so my advice to anyone with breathing disorders is even on summer nights, if you are not all huddled up with someone, wear a t-shirt at least to protect your chest...
That's my asthma treatment tip for the week...
