Longevity and low calorie diet
Is there a link between Longevity and low calorie diet habits?
Well, that is an interesting question and my honest take on it is that indeed there might be such a connection between adding years to our lives and reducing the amount of food that we eat, especially when the foods are the RIGHT foods that we are supposed to eat to begin with.
Linking the two factors: longevity and low calorie diet habits may be quite applicable based on the findings that when one reduces excessive eating, it allows for less wear and tear on the internal and visceral organs. This is even more enhanced or visible while fasting. Moreover, this allows for a proper detoxification and elimination of poisons and harmful waste products that could perhaps be the most responsible for aging in the first place.
However, some points that must be mentioned on longevity and low calorie diet programs are that:
1. Moderation is key, a wise man avoids all extremes, so don't become overly obsessive about expanding your life's span by reducing caloric intake.
2. Even if the calories are lowered for the sake of adding a few years, make sure the diet consumed is a healthy and sensibly balanced choice. There's no point in trying to remain longer here on earth if the years are filled with sickness folks.
3. If one solution needs to be key for anti-aging solutions, you have got to remember to exercise. This makes point number 2 above even stronger as a linking factor between longevity and low calorie diet plans.
Now, from research, I will present what I believe will be a sample diet that you could use to
1. Add years to your life while simultaneously improving health.
2. Achieve point 1 above WITHOUT having to overly obsess about excessive counting of calories, measurements etc...
Based on scientifically proven research on thousands of people for over two centuries on such health principles as food combination and assimilation, the human body goes through a cleansing process from twelve midnight until twelve noon, and a building program from twelve noon to twelve midnight, therefore our meals while combining methods of longevity and low calorie diet plans during these respective periods should be harmonious with these processes of natural detoxification of the body.
Now, though you may experience slight to no discomfort such as mild dizziness for the first couple of days of adhering to this suggested dietetic change, do not be frightened as these are merely detoxification symptoms of the body which are sure to pass in no time. Moreover, this simple discipline is bound to make the lunch meal even more enjoyable and filling. Try it for yourself and see!
Breakfast:
A choice of the following
1. A tall glass of Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice.
2. A tall glass of Fresh squeezed lemonade flavored with genuine maple
Syrup (the darker the grade the better)
Lunch:
A mono-meal of an organic fruit in season for example: Apples in the fall and winter, Melons in the summer, Berries in spring.
Dinner:
Fresh, home-made salads.
A simple dressing could be
(a) Lemon juice, olive oil and un-iodized sea-salt
(b) Avocadoes or Green coconuts blended with tomatoes and some sea salt
Or
Raw and/or cooked root vegetables such as Celery, Carrots, Potatoes, Plantains, raw or slightly heated fruit veggies (these can be blended into Soups or dressings for your salads)

All in all, as long as you remember to take it one-day-at-a-time and of course keep health as the number one goal to be sought after her, linking efforts of attaining longevity and low calorie diet plans can be useful...when done right.
