* Get a better night's sleep. People who strength train regularly are less likely to struggle with insomnia.
Getting started
When you have your doctor's OK, here's how to begin a strength training program
1.Start slowly. Personally, this could be warming up with a simple yet effective device such as the ab-wheel.
2.Stretch. My personal best choice will be some yoga such as the almighty sun salutations. If you are not into the whole 'hippie' thing or that adventurous, then some simple common stretches could suffice as well.
Now, choose a weight or resistance level heavy enough to tire your muscles after about 12 repetitions. Do keep in mind that your own body weight could count for this option: Basic push-ups, pull-ups, body-squats etc could work wonders in learning how to begin a strength training program.
Now, one other factor that must not be left out in your research on how to begin a strength training program, is to choose the right diet.
Some super foods for strength training include:
1. Organic and Fresh Seasonal fruits.
2. Greens, greens, greens...!!!
3. CELERY: This super food alleviates muscle fatigue immensely and guys, this is a known pheromone/aphrodisiac and increases testoterone immensely.
4. Root Vegetables
5. Whole Grains
